BLENDER SERIES FELIPE GREGORIO REVIEW – DOM

Summary: Creamy pepper and Graham cracker engage the senses for richness, sweetness, and spice.  Chocolate chip cookie dough shows up to the party uninvited but is asked to stay.  About halfway in, the party plateaus.  But hey, would you rather be partying low-key with friends or working all alone at home?

Almond pastry and floral notes turn the music up.  To me, the flavors scream Dominican tobacco (I'd put $10 on it).  Vanilla brings home the final act along with some spice.  Party on, Wayne.

BLENDER SERIES FELIPE GREGORIO REVIEW – RICH

Summary: This cigar brought notes of cedar, black tea, cereal grain, clove, cinnamon, coffee, tangy beef, lemon, and charred meat. If those flavors don't sound like they go well together, you and I are on the same page. There's nothing like a great-tasting cigar, and this was nothing like a great-tasting cigar.

The draw was quite loose, which impacted the burn and likely the flavor profile.

Lampert 1593 Edición Blanca Review Blind

BLENDER SERIES FELIPE GREGORIO REVIEW – BEN

Summary: Cold draw smells like sweet potato pie. Random, I know. Smoking smooth right out the gate with all the nutmeg, cinnamon and cream notes you can handle. There's a little jalapeno heat on the backend blossoming into a bready flavor.

Can't deny this even burnline or long ash; this week my lap is free! Last half, the bread notes are constant along with the sweetness of tobacco.

If You Like That, You Might Like This: Never having to guess

Pairing Suggestion: Rum

Perceived Strength: Medium

Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box

Blind Cigar Reviews by Small Batch Cigar

BLENDER SERIES FELIPE GREGORIO REVIEW – TED

Summary:  The wide-open cold draw of this cigar matches the lightweight feel in the hand.  Okay, there is a flavor at the start of this profile I can’t nail down.  I also can’t decide if I like it or not.  It’s a creamy mix of leather and mild wood and nuts.  The outlier is this odd note.  It’s floral…and a bit soapy.

Closer to the middle I’m getting less of the odd flavor but it’s still there.  I also have a little tunnel issue right close to the wrapper.  The flavors are otherwise good. Oak, mild coffee, and leather are the main notes flanked by very mild pepper spice.  Also, there is nutmeg drifting in and out of the mix.

End section not holding any surprises. I continue to work through a persistent tunnel, punishing the smoke output and flavors.  It’s a raw mixture of wood and nuts with a heavy charred toast.

Pairing Suggestion: Strong coffee with cream

Perceived Strength: Mild
